Come and Follow

"Come and follow", Jesus said
 "Share my peace and let it spread.
Love your neighbours even though
 they don't look like folks you know.
Welcome all, not just your friends.
 Cool those tempers; make amends.
Use your talents for the good;
 help out in your neighbourhood."

Will you follow when it's rough?
 Angry words - you've had enough!
Others mock your helping ways;
 they say that it's just a phase.
When you don't know what to do,
 faith is what will see you through.
Don't give up! Though troubles pass,
 kindness will be sure to last.
